Mid-Autumn Day 中秋节 Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn Day is on August 15th in Chinese lunar calendar. It is just the time exactly in the middle of autumn. So People in ancient China would like to call this day Mid-Autumn Day. At night of Mid-Autumn Day, you can see a big , beautiful, round and bright moon in the sky. People look on moon as a symbol of reunion. The moon cake is the traditional food for Mid-Autumn Day. It is round and sweet. The family members usually have dinner with moon cakes together, then watch the moon at night in Mid-Autumn Day.
