The location of the speech was appropriate because Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation 100 years earlier. How did Dr. King’s pattern of speech change from the beginning to the end? At the beginning of the speech, he sounds very scripted and at the end he is speaking from the heart with more passion.
