Campus, Ivy Tech, VU – Representation from Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) and 3 ICI Institutions (Indiana Wesleyan, U of Indpls., Valparaiso U) Strong Faculty Representation 10+ Others (Indiana DOE, CELL) Chaired by Dr. Kathy Tobin (Purdue-Calumet) 2

Key Legislative Action 2003 Session: – STAC Becomes Codified in Statute – Transfer Web Site To Be Created (TransferIN.net) 2005 Session: – Core Transfer Library (CTL) To Be Created (Minimum of 70 Courses) – 12 Program Areas To Have Statewide Articulations – Accomplish by June 30,

2+2 Articulations Currently, Separate Articulations with all 14 University Campuses for Ivy Tech and VU, e.g. – Ivy Tech has to develop/maintain 14 separate articulation agreements for Biology or Business Administration – Same for VU Common Statewide Articulations Needed: – Too complicated, inefficient – Confusion for students 11
