Pilot models: making links DOI as enabler to CALs business models CAL facilitates supply chain management interaction: publishers/ authors, academics, booksellers, printers B2B models: link common file formats and -based Application Profiles to existing POD process.

Coursepack pilot Streamline administration and delivery of customised course materials at two Australian universities Application Profiles include bibliographic, rights and print metadata Generic, scalable and interoperable Publisher participants: John Wiley, Pearson and CUP (Australia)

Classic Australian Works Tested short print-run (POD) process Made available 25 out-of-print Australian classic literature works Pilot participants: National Library of Australia, Australian Society of Authors, University of Sydney Library (SETIS) Over 700 books sold in first four months
