Children in Need Fundraising at Framwellgate Moor Primary School November 2010

Children in Need Children in Need is a UK based charity which has a national fundraising day every 2 years in November. Our school gets involved every time. All money raised goes to childrens charities such as homeless children, sick children, orphaned children and children who are carers. The fundraising day is publicised on national television which UK celebrities supporting it.

In our school children dressed in colourful spots and stripes instead of school uniform.

Each child paid £1 to wear fun and colourful clothes for the day.

Families and teachers donated cakes and biscuits to be sold to raise money.

There was a big cake sale in the school hall which the pupils organised and ran themselves.

There was a competition for the best dressed!

We raised over £380 for the charity Children in Need.
