Sunday Pay Differential  Must be regularly scheduled to work on Sunday.  Sunday premium pay may be paid only for periods when an employee performs work on Sunday.  Part-time employees are not entitled to Sunday differential pay.

Administrative Error c.Employee Illness d. Employee Essential in a National Emergency 3.Request & Approval to Restore lost AL

Lump Sum Pay for unused:Annual Leave Compensatory Time Earned Restored Annual Leave Credit Hours ************************************************************ Paid upon: Retirement Leaving Federal service or Entering into active military service Must pay back if employee returns to Federal service too soon

Travel, Exempt Employee Time spent in transit shall be considered hours of work when: 1.During regular working hours. 2.Work is performed while in transit. 3.It is the return trip from transporting items. 4.Transit is under arduous and unusual conditions 5.If results from an urgent event which could not be scheduled or controlled administratively.

Travel, Non-Exempt Employee Time spent in transit during non-duty hours shall be considered hours of work when: 1. Required to drive a vehicle 2. A passenger on a one-day assignment 3. A passenger on an overnight assignment during hours that correspond to the employee(s) regular working hours.

Comp-time for Travel Eligibility Restricted Creditable Time Non Creditable Time Limitation Forfeiture Never can be cashed in

Training as Hours of Work FLSA Exempt Employee 1. Training during regular working hours. 2. Training outside of regular working hours if it meets one of the following requirements. a. Employee is already receiving premium pay b. Situations the employee must learn to handle only occur at night. c. Costs including premium pay are less than the costs when training is confined to regular work hours. d. Granted an exception by OPM

Training as Hours of Work FLSA Non-Exempt Employee 1. The employee = s training is required by the agency and the employee = s performance or continued retention in his or her current position will be adversely affected by non- enrollment in such training. 2. Time spent by an employee performing work for the agency during periods of training shall be considered hours of work.
