 They come over here to the U.S. illegally.  They get a job.  On the job, they get hurt like Mr. Velasquez did, and he gets full coverage at the hospital.  Not only does he get full coverage at the hospital, but he asks for a disability check from the U.S. because he got hurt on the job.

 Some say that one may live here, be of any ethnicity and speak any language.  Others say, being an American means that one has freedom of choice, speech, expression, and religion.  200 years ago Benjamin Franklin wrote a quote about Germany.  “… are the Germans going to Germanize us, before we Americanize them”

 85% of all new workers are illegal immigrants.  No time in the last 60 years have we come to close this. They are really displacing young workers at a very high rate.  Without the immigrants we would have a decline in the work force of three to four percent.  We could not have grown as much as we did in the 90’s if it wasn’t for immigrant workers.

Arizona Law Gives Police Officer the power to determine whether someone is legally or not. Forces immigrants to carry their alien registration documents at all times! The law makes failure to carry proof of citizenship or legal status a crime! MARIA DURAN

Arizona is the biggest gateway into the U.S. for illegal immigrants. The state is home to an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants. Over the past three years, federal agents have made 990,000 arrests of immigrants crossing the border illegally in Arizona, or an average of 900 a day. MARIA DURAN
