Thesis “The over-production of corn has led to many unforeseen consequences affecting the health of our country. Decreases in the price of unhealthy, highly processed foods has created a country that is forced into making unhealthy food choices, resulting in major health issues, mostly obesity and obesity-related illnesses. The true cost of subsidized corn does not show on the price tag at the supermarket, there are other prices consumers must pay for cheap corn products.” Food Inc. King Corn
