Nouns A noun names anything that we can hear, see, touch, taste or smell. Nouns are the names of Persons - People Places and Things

Verb, that’s what happening! Verbs These are action words. They tell what something is doing. As the line in a famous song says… Verb, that’s what happening!
It is also a state of being Am – I am happy Is – He is sad Are – We are glad.

ADJECTIVES These are words that describe nouns. They tell the color, shape, texture, sound, smell and taste of an object. They give you more information about the person, place or thing that your are describing.

Great Job Red is an adjective. It tells about the color of the dress.
