God’s Solution Jesus is… – 1Peter 1:19 A Lamb without blemish or defect – 1John 5:20 The true God and eternal life – Jeremiah 23:6 The Lord our Righteousness

What Jesus has done John 1:29 – Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! Isaiah 53:6 – The Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 2Corinthians 5:21 – God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

How we receive this “Great Exchange” By Grace (Sola Gratia) – Titus 3:5 He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. – Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

How we receive this “Great Exchange” Through Faith (Sola Fidei) – John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him. – Ephesians 2:8 By grace you have been saved through faith – and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

How we receive this “Great Exchange” Via His Word (Sola Scriptura) – Romans 10:17 Faith comes from hearing the message… through the Word of Christ. – Romans 1:16 The gospel… is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.

Sanctified Christians John 10:10 – I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Ephesians 2:10 – We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Ephesians 2:19 – You are no longer… aliens, but… members of God’s household.

Sanctified Christians Matthew 11:28 – Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Galatians 5:22-23 – The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self- control.
