Using Technology to Integrate Reading into the Curriculum Each title in NoveList has a title record with a wealth of information for readers including annotations, book reviews, subject headings, Lexile scores, web links, series information and more.

Using Technology to Integrate Reading into the Curriculum By clicking on the Search Our Database tab at the top of the screen, you will find several searching options. Let’s do a Title Search.

Book cover and short summary will grab the student’s interest. Subject Headings allow teachers and students to find similar books.

The reader can search with the default of all subject headings checked, or select only the subjects he is specifically interested in. After customizing the checklist, select an audience level and click Search to find similar books to the current title.
