What factors contribute to Health and Wellness?

LeHeigh Valley Hospital Hospital-based TimeBank addresses multiple needs for the local community. Wheel Time - medical transportation for regular medical appointments. Medical Interpretation - train community members as translators for medical interpretation. Community Exchange - Members assist with after-care needs when patient is home. Visiting Nurses Association Community Connections TimeBank 100% of TimeBank members reported they benefited from joining. 98% reported they are able to use their skills to help others through TimeBank. 48% reported improvements in self-rated physical health. 72% reported improvements in self-rated mental health. 67% reported increased access to health and other community services. 93% saw TimeBank as a place to obtain information about services in the community. 92% reported that since joining TimeBank it’s easier to ask for help. 100% of TimeBank members reported they benefited from joining. 98% reported they are able to use their skills to help others through TimeBank. 48% reported improvements in self-rated physical health. 72% reported improvements in self-rated mental health. 67% reported increased access to health and other community services. 93% saw TimeBank as a place to obtain information about services in the community. 92% reported that since joining TimeBank it’s easier to ask for help.
