7 Conclusion HEP as a frontier-field in innovation of computers and networks, SW needs a new concept of doing research, Grid, especially Data Grid. World-wide HEP Data Grids over various experiments are rapidly evolving and seem very promising successful. Networks: The scale and capability of networks, their pervasiveness and range of applications in everyday life, and HEPs dependence on networks for its research, are all increasing rapidly. However, the gap between the economically favored regions and the rest of the world is widening. We must therefore work to close the Digital Divide. Although promising, international connectivity should be improved Finally, HEP is an excellent promising example of truly global e- Science, with widely dispersed resources all over the world and with excellent collaboration.
