Current Job Components Information Technology Department Network Systems Administration Telecommunications Database Design and Administration

IT Department Ensure proper functioning of processing systems and upgrade as necessary Manage company database as well as interior and exterior capability Manage the company domain structure Manage user and machine accounts across LAN (local area network) and WAN (wide area network) Help business operations components utilize information systems for best efficiency Keep computer equipment, hardware, and software up to date Follow appropriate network-wide best practice programming procedures Manage resources and availability of network hardware and services distributed to business partners Design, implement, and maintain systems for technical resource tracking, maintenance, metrics, user training for the purpose of projecting and anticipating future need costs Develop the operating budget for submission to management for approval prior to any purchasing action On-going training of technical device users throughout the company Continually ensure that Information Technology systems and services are purchased and implemented to best practice efficiency

Network Systems Administration Install, configure, and maintain the network Continually engineer and administer the network and maintain external and internal web presence Perform enterprise level system backups on external and internal web and data network servers Perform routine backup of user profiles and folder contents Design and support server systems and supporting operating software Install, configure, and maintain security including firewall devices and internal / external router’s firmware and hardware Install, configure, and maintain enterprise level virus control and prevention software and tools Provide fully functional remote support to all devices on the network and to users 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (network availability permitting)

Telecommunications Install, troubleshoot, and maintain telecommunications equipment Determine methodology for installing telephone services Determine appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications, call switches, test trunks, test links, and install telephone circuits Configure and maintain the Voice Over IP (VOIP) frame connection between stores Manage, monitor, measure, distribute, configure, and report on cellular network usage as well as services and hardware

Database Administration Administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database Resolve database performance and capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues Provide direct read connectivity from the business database to corresponding tracking and portable hardware applications and information services Design, implement, and support database applications on an Ad hoc basis for company management components
