Child Protection Strengthen child protection leadership and coordination Disbursement of +US$21, to Department of Social Services to enable deployment of officers to strengthen leadership, coordination and profiling including delivery of trauma counseling to the population Coordination meetings are now being held CPiE guidelines distributed for coherence

Child Protection Appropriate identification and support for vulnerable groups including children is needed to prevent discrimination and exploitation As at 1/03/14 Department of Social Services had deployed 5 officers to coordinate the profiling process and ensure appropriate resource allocation. CP Partners channel requests for resources and equitable allocation through the Department of Social Services

Child Protection Need for psychosocial support Three organisations (Childline, Plan Zimbabwe and Save the Children) are on site delivering basic PSS Anticipated delivery of PSS kits and recreational kits training volunteer counsellors among existing community members with skills in working with children government officers are being deployed and will also provide trauma counselling

Child Protection Prevention of Abuse and Exploitation Awareness sessions are being held with children and caregivers by CSOs Identification and reuniting of separated children is taking place with support from Department of Social Services. IEC materials with standardised messages and detail on service availability
