I. Analyze Learners 77-8 year olds FFor 2 nd graders LLessons based on ideas that most music class only 30 minuets long.

State Objectives  MU.O.G.MK Echo a simple rhythmic pattern.  MU.O.GMK Perform Rhythms using quarter notes, quarter rests, beamed eighth notes, half notes and half rests.  MU.O.GMK demonstrate strong and weak beats through movement.  MU.O.GMK Perform an accompaniment to a song, i.e., rhythm instruments, melodic instruments, or body percussion.  21C.O.PK-2.1.LS.3- Student articulates thoughts and ideas, representative of real and imaginary experiences, clearly and effectively through oral, written or multimedia communication.

Evaluate and Revise continued..  MU.O.GMK The students will do mimicking exercises and that will be there participation grades for the day.  MU.O.GMK I will let the students play with instruments, and then I will have them play certain rhythms on the instruments.  MU.O.GMK The students will demonstrate strong and weak beats for me on the musical instruments that they will use in class.  MU.O.GMK I will play a song over the sound system and the students will use the instruments that they are using in class that day to play or imitate the rhythm of the song.  21C.O.PK-2.1.LS.3- The students will write two papers for the class explaining what they have learned in the class.
