FAME *Famous pose that comes to everyone's mind when they think of Marilyn Monroe. “I knew I belonged to the public and to the world, not because I was talented or even beautiful but because I had never belonged to anything or anyone else”. –From the Unfinished Biography of Marilyn Monroe Becoming FAMOUS was something Marilyn Monroe knew she was going to be. The numerous appealing pictures she painted in the minds of her viewers through magazine, movies and photographs made it quite easy to do. Her fame and beauty are still present in today’s media. Rapper Jay-z mention her in his 2011 album in a song title “That’s My B” saying “I mean Marilyn Monroe she’s quite nice but why all the pretty icons always all have to be white”. After 50 years have past she is still famous and being part of today's media.

SEX APPEAL *Her beauty was shown through body image which made her, Marilyn. Sex appeal is something Marlin had a lot of. Being the face of the first ever edition of the million dollar playboy magazine entertainment for men sexy is what she was. Her face, body and smile can be define in many different words. The users of the website Pinterest describe her as “beautiful, breathtaking, drop dead gorgeous” which are only some of the words.

HIDDEN IDENTITY *The truth was unknown in her life, she was a hidden woman. Marilyn Monroe had many hidden identities, some might not know all of them. However the media was able to show how loving and kind hearted she was. According to the webiste Pinterest Ella Fitzgerald a famous Jazz vocalist stated that she owes her fame to Marilyn Monroe. Ella stated …”it was because of her that I played the Mocambo, a very popular nightclub in the ’50s….. She personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front table every night. She told him - and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status - that the press would go wild”. Marilyn was able to use her fame to help out another talent young women and was able to get Ella in the main street media.

TRUE LOVE FAKE LOVE *Size matters? I don’t think so! Just take a look at our Sex symbol of the century Marilyn Monroe. The media had many different stories about Marilyn Monroe love life. An article written by Rachael Bell title Marilyn Monroe Unhappily Married stated that she had multiple affairs with many different men. Some of her famous affairs were with President John F. Kennedy, baseball legends Joe DiMaggio and Bob Slatzer, and play writer Arthur Miller. Her affairs, the amount of time she was married and her career were taking a toil on her happiness.

FAME Marilyn Monroe was seen as the icon of the century. She was a singer, a model a actress and a normal person like us that had feelings that no one ever realized. Fame helped Norma Jean who is Marilyn’s real birth name to overcome fears to become a person like her mother that had mental problems. She was brought up in many different families, families that she had never known so she had gotten married at a very young age so the government can see that she is capable of taking care of herself. Would you do the same or keep going from one family to another and eventually get problems yourself. Either way for Marilyn Monroe did it end the way she wanted or was it set up in such a way for her life to go this way?

SEX APPEAL "Being a sex symbol is a heavy load to carry, especially when one is tired, hurt and bewildered." Truth is Marilyn Monroe was not a real blonde, she was born brunette. She was seen more sexy being a blonde which men over the centuries find very appealing compared to how she looked before. Marilyn Monroe also would be considered a plus size model and that was sexy back then. Her shape was an hourglass and her sizes measured at 36, 23, 35. Marilyn Monroe showed her real self and didn’t want to change her body and listen to anyone that told her to lose weight or anything like in this modern day we as girls are supposed to look skinny but still look appealing... How can that be done mostly by having plastic surgery. She was real and sexy and that is how all girls should be.

TRUE LOVE FAKE LOVE Love comes and goes. Especially for Norma Jean. In the 36 years of her life she went through many men and three marriages. First marriage lasted only 4 years to James Dougherty which she grew up with and they were good friends that basically did favors for each other. Especially saved her mentally in a way to not move anymore to different families. Her second marriage was to Joe DiMaggio which they never lost contact like her other two marriages, they remained friends and he helped her also even after she passed away. The last husband she had Arthur Miller was a writer, they say they fell in love because he wrote books and she enjoyed reading many books daily. They divorced a few months before her passing. Sometime all these different stories of Marilyn seem so untrue because the truth is Marilyn Monroe couldn’t go through life alone like many women. She needed a man to keep her stable and once she realized something about another man a.k.a John F. Kennedy that was the end of her. We all go through love and either it is used as fake or real many don’t care nor realize like Marilyn Monroe.

HIDDEN IDENTITY Reality is hidden by media. People in magazines, television shows, etc know the truth but do they really want us as people to know it? Did you know that Marilyn Monroe is known for having an affair with John F. Kennedy, I believe not. Well there is an unofficial truth hidden beneath this that only a few know, it is that somebody else had killed Marilyn Monroe and overdosed her with anti depressant pills and made it seem like a suicide. The only reason for someone to do that was because Marilyn Monroe had blackmailed John F. Kennedy and he didn’t want to destroy his career as being the president. What comes around go back around, do you believe it… I surely do!
