Editorial Fashion Illustrations are illustrations that accompany text in a fashion-related article. The illustration can be for print (magazines) or web (sites/blogs etc). Fashion illustration styles of drawing the figure are exaggerated. Proportions are elongated. In a normal figure drawing the length of the body is about 7 ½-8 head lengths long. In Fashion figure drawing about heads fit the length of the body

Fashion Illustration Styles Fashion Illustrators use a multitude of art media to create their illustrations. Designers will plan out their collections using fashion figure drawing, while illustrators for print may use portraiture or other styles of drawing the figure to convey an idea about a particular style of fashion.
