2 Accredited Standards Committee C63 ® - EMC SC2 Scope Scope Unchanged  E3 Terminology Definitions  Subcommittee 2 is responsible for developing, updating, and/or modifying definitions and terminology related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) including electromagnetic environmental effects (E3). The subcommittee will also recommend and/or consider definitions for ratification and harmonization with the U.S. military and international standardization bodies as needed. The subcommittee will maintain ANSI C63.14, “American National Standard, Dictionary of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) including Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3).”

The revision is currently on schedule for August 2014 publication.
