Where is Bastile Day celebrated? Bastille Day is celebrated in France.

What food is eaten at Bastille Day ? On Bastille Day, they eat crepes, baguettes, quiche lorraine, fruit, cakes, salads and cookies.

Why is this festival celebrated? On 14 th July 1789, the French peasants freed the prisoners from Bastille prison and this started the French Revolution. They got rid of the king and started a republic.

How is Bastile Day celebrated? They have fireworks celebrations. Buildings have the French flags on them. People have a day off work and school. Day have People have special meals with their friends and family.
