Left Side Equipment Stack with HPA Inverter at bottom. Set the inverter to Mode 2. Right Side Equipment Stack with modems with Inverter at bottom. Set the inverter to Mode 2. KU Trailer Back view Both inverters are at the bottom of their respective racks.

Controls and Indicators LCD DISPLAY SCREEN SLI Inverter HARD POWER SWITCH The Hard Power Switch must be in the ON position for the Inverter to function. If the Inverter is in Standby mode, power will still flow, but batteries will not kick in if AC power is lost. Use the Soft Power Switch to change from Standby mode to operate. Alarm LED’s Soft Power Switch

To change Inverter settings while Ku Trailer is in operation (page 1). STAND BY… If Inverter Screen showsthen press theButton. The display should indicate STARTING… Vout=xxx.xVac Iout=x.xxAac Pressonce to see Master Ad. I Stand Alone followed by T.Switch Online Load->Inverter S Press or until the display shows Vgrid=xxx.xVac Igrid=x.xxAac Press or until the display shows The Vout and Vgrid should be close to 120Vac. If the Vgrid and Vout are also not within 20% of each other, contact Datapath FSR and have them check the inverters and generator. Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 followed by the screen below. If the Ku Trailer is running and the Inverter is already turned on, you can proceed to Step 2 without performing Step 1. If this screen shows “Load -> Grid” then continue with the steps to verify the other settings. The screen will return to the Vgrid or Vout screen in a few seconds on its own.

To change Inverter settings while Ku Trailer is in operation. (Page 3) Press one time to display Press two times to display Set Vout - - > 1.2 Transfer Switch - - > 1.12 Press or pressone time. to set the “Vout” to match 120Vac (in.1V increments). The screen will display Vout=xxx.xVac - - > Press one time to display Set Vout - - > 1.2 Press two times to display Transfer Switch - - > 1.12 Press one time to display Set Voltage - - > Mask (%) This will balance the Voltage output to match the Voltage input for a more stable load if the system is transferring from AC to DC power. Step 12 Step 13 Step 14 Step 15 Step 16 Step 17 Step 18

To change Inverter settings while Ku Trailer is in operation. (Page 4) Press one time to display V. Mask = xx % Press or to set the V.Mask to 20%. Press one time to display Set Voltage - - > Mask (%) Press one time to display Set RMS Voltage - - > Tolerance Press one time to display Vrms Tol. = xx % Press or to set the Vrms Tolerance to 20%. Press one time and then three times. This will create a zone in which the Inverter will function. If the output voltage goes outside of this range (plus or minus the 20%), the system will alarm out. This will create a zone in which the Inverter will function based on Vrms. If the output voltage goes outside of this range (plus or minus the 20%), the system will alarm out. Step 19 Step 20 Step 21 Step 22 Step 23 Step 24 Step 25 Vout=xxx.xVac Iout=x.xxAac Press or to return to this display.

Follow these instructions for both Left and Right inverters on the Ku Trailer. When you change from Mode 1 to Mode 2, you may notice a system outage. This may be a minor outage with no downtime or it may require the HPA to go into delay-T status for a few minutes (usually no longer than 2 minutes) and should come back up on its own. Maintain visibility of the system until it comes back up. If it does not, ensure everything is still turned on and has not tripped a circuit breaker. If the Ku trailer is not currently in operation, power everything up with the onboard generator and, once powered up, perform the steps above.. You must ensure that DC power is applied to the inverters by turning on the DC inverter power switch on the Right side stack. You must also ensure that the Battery Charger on the Right Side stack is turned on as well in order to maintain a charge on the batteries for backup purposes. T.Switch Online Load->Grid S Pressonce to see Master Ad. I Stand Alone followed by If you do not see Load -> Grid then start from step 1 again. If it does not work properly the second time, contact the Datapath FSR to assist you. To change Inverter settings while Ku Trailer is in operation. (Page 5)
