The Olympics of the Visual Arts The OVA is a State Competition sponsored by the NYSATA and is designed to incorporate all the New York State Standards for the Visual Arts. We currently are the only WNY school who competes. This will be the first year the Middle School will compete.

OVA Fashion Design Students Preparing for competition. As soon as the questions are posted students begin the creative and production process.

Preparation for show time Students for the fashion design question must prepare a 1 minute speech that describes their piece.

Art Society Trip The art society has taken trips for the past 11 years with the intent to bring students to the artwork and enrich their understanding of society and culture. For the past 3 years the Art Society has had the awesome opportunity to compete in the OVA, which completes the experience and gives the students the opportunity to compete and represent their school as artists.
