After You Read Discussion Questions Please prepare a few TALKING POINTS for when we have our discussion about this myth: What themes or life lessons can you see through this novel? In the myths we have read, especially this one, women do not have as much control over their lives as men do. Provide examples from the myth that prove this to be true. In what ways should Perseus be considered a hero? Who has proven to be the better hero, Perseus or Hercules? Support your reasons with examples from the text.

Add to your “Stories” File Label this story “Perseus Connection” Think of a time when you were tricked OR you tricked somebody. It could be minor (April Fools’ Day joke), or it could be more serious (Ms. Furness once made her sister believe that her brother got into a bad car accident on “Gullible Street.” It was all fun and games…until she started hysterically crying!) Using your strongest word choice and story telling abilities, create a 250-300 word retelling of the event in your Google Doc.
