Personal Testimony

Purpose of Romans Paul wanted to go to Rome to: See Rome. Acts 19:21 When these things were accomplished, Paul purposed in the Spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”

Purpose of Romans Paul wanted to go to Rome to: Teach the church there and be encouraged by their faith. Romans 1:11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established;

Purpose of Romans Paul wanted to go to Rome to: Win more to Christ. Romans 1:13 Now I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that I often planned to come to you (but was hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles.

Purpose of Romans Paul wanted to go to Rome to: Be supported on the way to Spain. Romans 15:24 …whenever I journey to Spain, I shall come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.

Purpose of Romans Paul wanted to go to Rome to: Enjoy the company of the Roman Christians. Romans 15:24 …whenever I journey to Spain, I shall come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.
