Outreach Commissioning Prayer Whole congregation stands together and prays aloud: LORD, We praise you because by your awesome power, you raised the Lord Jesus from the dead and will also raise with us with Jesus and present us before your glorious presence without fault and with great joy! We thank you, for through your Spirit we are no longer slaves to sin, but instead we live in freedom, as your children and co-heirs with Christ.

By your Spirit, we are able to cry ‘Abba, Father!’ We know we are called by you. We know that we are loved by You, because the Gospel came to us by Your power through the Holy Spirit. We pray that we will be true imitators of Jesus, our Lord, and Rescuer. Please use us to set forth your truth plainly in word and deed. Please shine your light into our hearts, and into our friends’ hearts, to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

May we bear fruit for your glory as your message of grace transforms us and overflows from us to our families, friends, colleagues, communities, and to all of London. In Jesus’ precious name we pray, Amen.
