Registration Management Committee (RMC) Atlanta, GA July 22-23, Agreed Principles Auditor Authentication will be a combination of qualifications (e.g., auditor training, work experience) and demonstrated competence. The primary focus of the competency demonstration will be on auditing behaviors and audit process There will be 3 paths to certification: AA path, AEA path and a path for AAs to become AEAs.

The initial process will require pre-requisites (e.g. AQMS training), measurement of audit competency against defined criteria, review by the AAB and SMS. Recertification will follow the same process, without the requirement for review by the SMS.
