Pre-Algebra – What’s That? Pre-Algebra is the fundamental link between mathematics and algebra. It is the link between the concrete and the abstract. Learn to use the “language” of algebra. We begin with easier concepts (2x + 5 = 9) just like you would learn Spanish talking first about things we know – not nuclear physics – then about more complex.

Pre-Algebra – Key Info Grading: Academic = quizzes, tests, projects Error Analysis to 85% max (70% if late / incorrect) Work Habits = Homework + Participation Citizenship = Following Class/OVMS rules Homework : Daily =Assigned + Review Notes : Daily / PowerPoints posted online 37 Students currently in class (to Student & Parent Resources)

Algebra 1-2 – What’s That? One way to think of Algebra is using equations, with symbols, to solve real-world problems. Algebra 1-2 is a high school level course.
