Heredity The unique genetic information you were born with It affects your ability to learn and emotional tendencies It also affects your gender and physical appearance

Heredity gives the capacity for certain qualities which can affect your behaviour. What personality traits do you share with one or both of your parents?

Environment Environment forms a person's experiences from before the time she was born to the present

Environment makes it possible to reach that capacity and may encourage a person to develop in a certain direction. What things in your environment have shaped your personality?
