Box Plot A box plot shows a box over the interval containing the middle half of the data. The whiskers extend to the maximum and minimum value The median is marked off by a vertical line The lower quartile (Q 1 ) is the 25 th percentile and the upper quartile (Q 3 ) is the 75 th percentile
