Enterprise Manager

Oracle Corporation Oracle Enterprise Manager 1 Some database administrators (DBAs) use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to manage the DBMS. With Oracle Database version 10g, Oracle Corporation introduced a web- based rewrite of OEM called Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control. Oracle Corporation has dubbed the super Enterprise Manager used to manage a grid of multiple DBMS and Application Servers as Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.

F5 Networks - Enterprise Manager 1 Enterprise Manager is an F5 product that provides centralized management of multiple F5 BIG-IP devices. Enterprise Manager is available both as a physical and virtual appliance.

Enterprise Manager 1 'Enterprise Manager' is the primary administrative tool for Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and provides a Microsoft Management Console|MMC–based user interface that allows users to:

Enterprise Manager 1 Microsoft Management Console|MMC is a tool that presents a common interface for managing different server applications in a Microsoft Windows network. Server applications provide a component called an MMC snap-in that presents MMC users with a user interface for managing the server application. Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager is the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 MMC snap-in.

Enterprise Manager 1 In Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Enterprise Manager is replaced by SQL Server Management Studio, which provides a single interface to functionality provided by Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer in Microsoft SQL Server

Oracle Enterprise Manager 1 The computer application software|application 'Oracle Enterprise Manager' (OEM or EM) aims to manage Computer software|software produced by Oracle Corporation as well as by some non-Oracle entities.

Oracle Enterprise Manager - Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control 1 Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control, the oldest and arguably the best- known release, aims to manage Oracle databases. It originated as a Java platform|Java Client (computing)|client able to configure and manage databases.

Oracle Enterprise Manager - Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 1 Partners and IT organizations can build extensions to Oracle Enterprise Manager, and make them available to other Enterprise Manager users via [ s/oem/extensions/index.html Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control Extensions Exchange].

Oracle Enterprise Manager - Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 1 Enterprise Manager provides comprehensive, flexible, easy-to-use monitoring functionality that supports the timely detection and notification of impending IT problems to the intended users

Oracle Enterprise Manager - Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 1 OMAs collect the data using the custom- built plug-in and transmit the results in XML format back to the OMS, which then stores and analyzes the data as desired.Oracle Enterprise Manager continues to expand its monitoring scope by offering management plug-ins for non- Oracle components, that are both Oracle- developed and developed in partnership by third-party vendors

Oracle Enterprise Manager - Functionality 1 These run as autonomous proxy processes on a managed node, and perform execution and monitoring tasks for Oracle Enterprise Manager, communicating using the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP or HTTPS)

Oracle Enterprise Manager - Version history 1 In November 2011 Oracle Corporation announced Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c, which included the Cloud computing|cloud-oriented Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
