LOGO Master’s Programme «Chemistry and technology of products of basic organic and oil-chemical synthesize» National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University Department of Technology of Organic Substances and Polymeric Materials

Who is the Chemical Technology Diploma for? It is a foundation course for students with a general interest in Oil chemical technology You will learn about the different types of Organic and Oil chemical synthesis, Methods of preparation and decomposition of oil and gas You do specialize in Oil chemistry area 2

What qualifications do you need? 3 You must be at least twenty years old with an interest in Chemistry You need to have Diploma of Bachelor in any Chemical area

What will You learn on the course? You will learn:  Mechanisms, kinetics and thermodynamics of basic chemical reactions  Methods of receiving and analyzing of different organic substances  Technologies of preparation and decomposition of oil and gas  Practical skills in carrying out important technological processes and in speaking front public  Key skills in Computer Design of basic chemical reactions and processes and apparatus 4

You How will You learn? The course is part-time two years (in all four terms) But most of your time you will spend in laboratory and on computer screen You will spend some time in the classroom and library

You How will You be assessed? Each project is marked and there are scientific repot and test at the mid and end of each term In time study you will take part in student conferences
