What Are Body Systems? The single cell from which a baby is born ultimately divides into trillions of cells. These cells organize in a special way to form.
Cell Diversity The move from unicellular to multicellular organisms occurred through cell specialization. The division of required tasks necessary to maintain.

Homeostasis

What is Homeostasis? The ability to maintain constant internal physical and chemical conditions All living things must do this to survive.

What are some examples of homeostasis maintenance in humans? Temperature Regulation Blood sugar regulation Oxygen level regulation Waste removal

What are some things organisms use to maintain homeostasis? Cell Specialization – Muscle cells, bone cells, nerve cells, etc. Organ specialization – Stomach, heart, lungs etc. System specialization – Digestive system, Circulatory system, Muscular system, Nervous system etc.

Maintaining Homeostasis in a multicellular organism (such as a human) requires coordination between all the body systems!
