Abstract "Vertigo" © Copyright 1998 Jack Leigh -- all rights reserved. Abstract is a picture that dwell on other formal elements like (Line, Shape, Etc.) rather than recognizable words. This photo is a good example of abstract because It shows the line from the window to the rain on the wall, the shape of the window.

Content "Ogeechee Blue Grass Festival" © Copyright 1998 Jack Leigh -- all rights reserved Content is the subject, topic, or even the information that is capture the photograph. This is a good example of “content” because the subject or topic is the couple that is dancing at a party or little get together with friends.

Portrait Senior Picture Captured By “Lucky Toriano” Portrait is of a person or group of people that displays the expression, personality, and mood of the subject. Like other types of portraiture, the focus of the photograph is usually the person's face. This is a good example of a portrait because is shows the persons face. The focus is directly on the persons face. The mood is happy, the subject senior year.

The photograph makes you guess what time of day it is. the light natural or artificial, harsh or soft or reflected maybe directed. This is a good image to use using light because it shows that is day time, and there is light shining through the window and there’s also a light hanging from the cealing.

Line "Criss Crossing Trees" © Copyright 1998 Jack Leigh -- all rights reserved. Line is objects in the picture that act as lines. They can be curvy, straight, thin, or even thick. The lines create a direction in the image. The may outline. They can show movement or energy. This is a really example of line because it shows the branches from the trees give straight lines and the reflection of the trees are shown in the water. There are also curvy lies that are coming from the straight lines.

Geometric Shape "Cedarkey Bedroom" © Copyright 1998 Jack Leigh -- all rights reserved. Geometric shape is simple rectilinear or curvilinear shapes found in geometry, such as circles, squares, triangles, etc. This photo shows the example of geometric shapes, It has rectangle shapes on the wall.

Organic Shape is shapes based on natural objects such as trees, mountains, leaves, etc. This is a good example of organic shape because the natural object that is being used is the big leaning tree, that had leaves.

Texture "Nancy's Shirt" © Copyright 1998 Jack Leigh -- all rights reserved Texture is when you could touch the surface of the photograph and tell how it would feel. This is a good example of texture because in the image it looks like a towel hanging from the door handle and if I would be able to touch it I would be soft.

Value/Tone "Melissa" -- Ogeechee Revisited © Copyright 1998 Jack Leigh -- all rights reserved. Value/Tone is the range of tones from dark to light. There can be a dark shadow. There can be a dark value. There can be a really light part in the picture. This is a good example of Value/Tone because it shows dark parts of the picture and also very light parts in the picture.

The place from which a photographer takes a photograph. the vantage point from which the photograph was taken; generally used when discussing a photograph taken from an unusual or exaggerated vantage point. These images are good because is shows that the pictures are being token in in a shoe store and in a train station.
