In the last two decades of the 20 th century, the tide has really begun to turn. Movements have broken out in Algeria, Soviet Central Asia, Bangladesh and Iran. In the first 14 years of the 21 st century, new Muslim movements to Christ have erupted across the Muslims world, from West Africa to Indonesia and everywhere in between. The 21 century alone has seen the addition of 69 new Muslim movements to Christ.

The current wave of Muslim movements to Christ has happened at the same time as an increase in prayer for the Muslim world. It’s no coincidence that the 30 DAYS of Prayer movement has just commemorated its 23 rd year. PRAY that the Spirit of God will continue to sweep through the Muslim world, drawing Islam’s millions to realize their need for salvation in Christ alone!

Through prayer, we engage in an act of love for Muslim people around the world – sharing their burdens, understanding their concerns and petitioning God to help them. In this way, we fulfill the command of Jesus to love our neighbours.
