Creating a CUNY Portal ID Click on Log in 3. Click on Register Now

4. Click on the appropriate affiliation

5. Enter the appropriate information. 6. Click next.

If you get the following message: “You did not complete one or any of the required fields. Please try again.” CALL THE HELP DESK:

If all goes well… The system will ask you for a user id and password to be used for future sign-in. 1. a. Select a user ID that you can remember, preferably your first initial plus last name. For example, Riley Freeman might use rfreeman. b. Select a password that you can remember. 2. You will only have three tries to enter the correct password the next time you sign in. If you do not enter the correct password within the three tries, you will be locked out from the system for one hour.

YOU ONLY NEED TO CREATE A PORTAL ID ONE TIME!!!

Once you have a CUNY portal ID, you can access Blackboard through: or 2. The Kingsborough Community College homepage. e.g. From the KCC website

1. Click on log-in 2. Enter your portal ID (username & password)

3. Click on Blackboard 4. Click on student next to Kingsborough Community College 5. You will see a Welcome screen with your name on it. 6. Click on our course (e.g. HIS0101 D01B: American History …)
