The Bible Genealogy In the Bible genealogy are very important. The Bible genealogy begins with Adam. Seth had children, his children had children

Abraham’s Special Blessing God made a special promise to Abraham. Abraham had a son named Isaac. Isaac had a son named Jacob. Jacob then had 12 sons.

Judah a Leader Judah received a special promise. His future genealogy would contain a leader of Israel Judah’s future ancestor’s name was David.

King David David did many good things and God made him King of Israel. The LORD made a promise to King David that is found in the Tanakh.

2 Samuel 7:12, 13, “When your days are complete and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come forth from you, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 16 Your house and your kingdom shall endure before Me forever; your throne shall be established forever.”

God’s Promise to King David The Messiah would be one of his descendants. The Messiah would be the special person that God promised would be one of Abraham’s descendants. Yosef/Joseph was a descendant of King David.

Yosef/Joseph Yosef/Joseph was engaged to a young lady named Miriam/Mary. Yeshua is the promised Messiah that would be the Savior of the world.

Son of David One of the names given to the Messiah is the “Son of David” Messiah’s birth and life were announced long before Yeshua’s mother Miriam/Mary was even born. Over 300 promises called “prophecies” were made concerning Yeshua.

Yeshua Means Salvation God told us He was coming because he had a plan. He was going to save man from his sins. He loves you and me very much! Salvation =
