 Located between Appalachians and Great Plains  Used for farming

Ozark Plateau  between Missouri and Arkansas Rivers  scenic region with springs and underground streams

 generally high plateau in central North America  extends from Canada to Texas  bordered on east by central lowlands and west by Rocky Mts.  grain & livestock farms

 chain of rugged mts stretching from Canada to Texas  forms part of the Continental Divide  Mt. Elbert 14,443 ft highest peak  bordered on east by Great Plains & west by Great Basin
