Tampa FAASTeam Purpose of checklist: Although the aircraft checklist has long been regarded as a foundation of pilot standardization and cockpit safety, it has escaped the scrutiny of the human factors profession. The improper use, or the non-use, of checklist is often cited as a major contributing factor in mistakes.

Tampa FAASTeam Purpose of checklist: We have designed the following checklist for the FAA Production Studio in order to help eliminate any confusion that may exist, the possibility of making mistakes, or omitting tasks that are necessary for the successful completion of our studio productions.

Tampa FAASTeam Purpose of checklist: In no way does this checklist substitute for proper training and operation of equipment. This only a brief checklist to reinforce, enhance and verify what has already been established in the production studio handbook. Detailed information, training, or proper procedures pertaining to our current studio operations and productions can be found in the FAA Production Studio Handbook.
