INTRODUCTION Jupiter is a very interesting topic to learn about. Jupiter is a planet. What it’s like Almost a star Jupiter’s solar system Fun Facts

JUPITER IS A PLANET It has orange, brown, and white stripes. It is made of gas and liquid hydrogen. Jupiter has two gossamer rings, a main ring, and a halo.

WHAT IT’S LIKE Humans couldn’t live there. There is very little oxygen. Jupiter has very stormy weather.

ALMOST A STAR It is made of the same things as the sun. It’s not dense enough to burn. Jupiter would have to weigh 80 times more to be a star.

JUPITER’S SOLAR SYSTEM It has 63 moons. 16 of the 63 moons have names. The largest moons are Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Calisto.

FUN FACTS Romans named Jupiter after their most powerful god. It is the 4 th brightest object in the sky. 1,300 Earths would fit inside of Jupiter.
