 Literally computers are everywhere! Literally computers are everywhere! Click here for next slide

 Computers are everywhere; work, home, grocery store, automotive repair shops. Some computers sit on top of a desk or on the floor. Recently we have added a new dimension to mobile computing. With the advent of the new lite weight phone called “ Apple 4 ” with internet use up to 5 hours on 3G or WiFi networks and 1GHz of processor speed mobile devices are often classified as computers. Computers have become the primary means of global communication for billions of people. Yes I would venture to say that computers have become a common part of our lives. Everywhere you look from video games to cell phones everybody is engaged somehow. From mother in her late seventies Internet dating to the grand babies using it for video games. Computer literacy or digital literacy is vital and therefore we need to know that means and how we are involved in it and not know it. What is Computer literacy? I glad you asked, as we continue we hope to emphasize that it’s the knowledge and a understanding that is current and relevant of a ever changing world of computers.
