Definition Business Centers/ Incubator: Is an economic development tool, seeks to accelerate the growth and success of entrepreneurial companies, by: Business support resources and special package of services. financial viable. Reducing Head-Cost. Networks.

Business Center/Incubators goals and objectives: Goals: Help the growth of new companies. Help the survival of new companies. Objectives: Creation of 10 new jobs after 2 years. Satisfaction average - min. 80% of all services.( Logistics and administration, guidance, networking, access to finance, mentoring, events, etc’..).

Nazareth Business Incubator Center - NBIC Background: NBIC was launched at Feb It is subsidized from the Ministry of Economy and the Authority for Economic Development for Arabs at the P.M office. Aims to support Arab Minorities. Mati Nazareth – The Center for Business Development – Won the call to establish and run the NBIC. NBIC Vision: To Lead social-economical development of the Arab sector seeking diversity of business segments and aiming to influence the Arab sectors’ perception of entrepreneurship and risk taking. 1.Encourage Hi-Tech initiatives and building entrepreneurship eco-system. 2.To make real social-impact. Access to Finance: 2 Initiatives got 300K-500K grants from Bird Fund. 3 entrepreneurs got grants from “Tnofa” fund at C.S.O 3 entrepreneurs got grants from the programs for the provision of Aid for placement of new employees – Minority directive. One initiative got investment from Jordanian angle. Another got investment from a local angle. Another 4 entrepreneurs are discussing Term Sheet conditions for investments.

The Acceleration Program - NazTech The Need: After two years at the NBIC, we think that there is two obstacles/barriers that Arab Hi-Tech entrepreneurs faces: Lack of experience – How to take an idea to the startup stage and then to “exit” stage. Lack of “SEED and Pre Seed Investments.

The Acceleration Program - NazTech The concept: NAZTECH is an intensive five month acceleration program. It Contains all the elements of success factors that an entrepreneur need to take his idea to startup, such as: Mentor, Coacher, Expert, consultant, Roundtables, Boot camp, lectures, investors and VC’s, Network and Demo Day.
