Pre-class: I have a Sony UX-280P handheld computer with windows XP installed and about 2 GB of free hard drive space. I am interested in upgrading the operating system to Windows Vista business edition. Does my computer meet the hard requirements for installing the software? ◦ Step #1: do a Google search using the following search string: “Sony UX-280P” and “specifications”. Browse the first 2 or three results. Note the following in a Word document: hard drive capacity, installed RAM, processor type and speed. ◦ Step #2: now do another Google search using the following search string: “Windows Vista” and “requirements”. Note the following in a Word document: hard drive capacity, installed RAM, processor type and speed. ◦ Step #3: finally, write a conclusion in the same Word document explaining whether I can run the software with my current configuration.
