GAREC 2007 SATERN Presentation ORIGINS Began by Carl Lindstrom, W9JSF, over 40 years ago as SAROF– Salvationist Amateur Radio Operators Fellowship Later, SAROF became Salvation Army Radio Operators Fellowship First SATERN Net in June, 1988, following the SAROF Net.
