What Does English Technology Look Like?

The content remains the same… With the exception of: Technology Integration Across the curriculum Rigorous Academics

To What level will technology be integrated in the classroom?

Word Processing: Exploring the computer as a writing tool Editing Techniques Electronic Thesaurus On-line writing tools

Digital Photography Using visual literacy to enhance writing

Inspiration Software that allows students to visually graph their writing ideas, then transforms those ideas into outline form.

The Water Cycle 1. Evaporation Most evaporation takes place over the ocean. some water evaporates from lakes and rivers. Plants release water to the air through transpiration. 2. Condensation Clouds form as the water vapor cools. 3. Precipitation When the water droplets become heavy enough, they fall back to Earth as precipitation. Precipitation is the source of all fresh water on and below Earth's surface. the water cycle renews the usable supply of fresh water on Earth. Millions of years, the total amount of water on Earth has remained fairly constant. in the world as a whole, the rates of evaporation and precipitation are balanced. 4. Runoff and Ground Water Some water runs off along the ground surface. Some water soaks into the ground and becomes groundwater. Groundwater flows underground and eventually may flow into a body of water.
