Outline Project Concept Project Team Deliverables & Schedule Initial Prototype of DO Module Requirements Validation

Project Concept Project entails development of new module (named as DO Module) for accepting new applications to provide a short term solution to alarming situation of PACSYS It is an independent system from PACSYS that will reduce connections and workload of PACSYS server, thereby speeding up Duty Officer’s (DO) service and other transactions done in PACSYS.

Conceptual Framework

Objectives Provide a dependable working system for Duty Officer in accepting new applications. Integrate SOA Preparation for new applications, eliminating one process, thereby speeding up processing of new applications. Reduce the connections and workload of PACSYS server, thus speeding up the Duty Officer services by more than 30%. Migrate portions of Patent Database into a newer platform.

New DO Module Features Fully functional module that conforms to the PACSYS data flow concept and security settings. Integrated with SOA Preparation. Provision to use slip printer in issuing application no. and filing date.
