What are rivers?  Rivers are fast flowing water in craters in the ground. Then they flow into seas, oceans, or lakes and get transformed into clouds.  There are 165 major rivers in the world!!

How long is the River Murray?  The River Murray is 2995 km long.  It starts in Australia Alps and ends at lake Alexandrine.

Where is the mouth?  The Mouth of the Murray is in the southern ocean.  This is where the river Murray ends

Who found the River Murray?  The river Murray was first discoved by Hamiltoh Hume and William Hovell.  And in 1830 a man called captain Stuart made the discovery and named it the Murray.
