Voting Rights  Voting should be an easily accessible thing to everybody  Minorities, seniors, women, and military personal are in danger of not being able to vote because of voter ID laws  Voter ID laws are under the pretense of preventing voter-straud (only 0.08% of the entire population)

Environment  Democrats want to create a “greener” society by curbing greenhouse gases and CO2 admissions into the air which will also create new jobs.  Global warming is a serious issue  Also believe that there should be stricter standards for energy industries

Civil Rights  Support the full repeal of Defense of Marriage Act and the Employment Non- Discrimination Act to fight  These discrimination can include race, sex, ethnicity, national origin, language, and religion.

Education  “No Child Left Behind Act”  Provide teachers with support and resources  “Race to the Top” which increases standards and also issuing student loans
