P LOT : C ONFLICT AND RESOLUTION

All stories have a plot, or a series of story events. Most plots contain a conflict, or problem, that occurs early in the story. Plot events throughout the story lead to a resolution, or solution to the problem, near the end. TIP- The conflict of a story usually has to do with a challenge faced by the main character.

Recognizing the conflict and the resolution in a story can help you better understand what you read! Conflict Plot events Resolution
