What year was Yellowstone established Yellowstone was established by an act of Congress and the signing into law by President Ulysses S. Grant in 1872 to create the world's first national park and continues today to be known for the abundant wildlife that live there and as the home of over half of the world's geysers.

How the park was formed Scientists think that Yellowstone was formed from large volcano activity that created a caldera(a large crater is formed from a large explosion from a volcano that collapses into a depression).

What rocks can be found and your park Although many of the rocks you see in the world were made millions or even billions of years ago, in Yellowstone National Park, two kinds of rock, geyserite and travertine, are forming right now.

What are special landforms in your park Yellowstone has many special land features. It is home to Old Faithful geyser. That is one example of the magma build up. There are many geysers in Yellowstone along with waterfalls. It is also home to Mammoth Falls.

How is the land inside the park currently changing Yellowstone’s super volcano is a big part of land changing inside and outside the park. It would devastate the entire states and take billions of trillions lives too.

What environmental issues are affecting your park Human traffic and the pollution it brings will gradually take its toll on the beauty of the park.

How is technology used to help preserve and maintain the park They are using websites to advertise donations and visits to the park, and they also give a lot of info on the park and nature to teach people a little more about nature and they they might think about using gas cars and other environmental hazards.
