Clothing Here are examples of Karenni clothing, holiday, and Karenni music. The first picture shows food we eat called Dee Ku when we have our April Festival. The second picture shows two Karenni people wearing new traditional clothes. The girl is wearing a red dress and the boy is wearing with white shirt with black pants. The girls in the third picture are wearing a dresses with a lot of jeweler on their bodies. This is the old way people dressed. Dee Ku Karenni new clothes Karenni old clothes

Music Karenni music Karenni dance This music is about our country that we Love. It talks about the old past that Burma burned our Home. The people keep running around the valley. Our rice that we grew was taken by the Burmese soldiers. The people also sing about our river that is beautiful. We love our country.

Economy This is old Karenni money that people used. Now, they don’t use that money anymore. They use Thai money to buy stuff.

Food Here are different types of Karenni food. This is Karenni art about how people carried the water from the river to water the plants. These women are wearing old clothes for farming. Now people don’t wear clothes like this anymore.

Mountains and Land This is how we live. Some people use their land to grow crops. Some people had their own land to grow food and farm. Their land is away from their home. So, sometimes they just sleep over in a hut.

Geography Karenni (Kayah) State is located in the eastern part of Myanmar. The relief of Karenni (Kayah) State is mountainous with the Dawna Range and the Karen Hills also known as "Karenni-Karen" Mountains separated by the Salween River as it flows through Karenni (Kayah) State. Balu Chaung, called Nam Pilu in local language, flows from Inle Lake and converges with the Salween in southern Karenni (Kayah) State.

Here are Karenni, Karen, and Burma flags.. KarenniKarenBurma Each flag has their own stories about the flag’s picture.

Karen Culture Here are Karen culture dance, clothing and foods. This is how Karen people go to school and learn, just like Karenni.

A place I would like to visit in the future: I would like to visit the country of Korea. Korea has very beautiful places. I like the way Korean people dress. In my dream, I was visiting Korea. I wish I can speak Korean language and visit there one day. I like that way they dance. Korean Mountains cover 70 percent of Korea and arable plains are generally small and fall between the successive mountain ranges

Summary of Contents We are doing our Power Points about different cultures to know how flags are different to other ones. Art, Dance, Music, and Cultural clothing are all different to other countries. We are writing about different cultures, the way we speak, and the way we wear clothing. And we are writing about different mountains and land we had in our country. We are also writing about the way our farming and geography are different to other countries.
